Individual
membership
categorisation
In view of the expansion of the
SUT around the world, it has been decided that the Individual Membership
rates should be reviewed.
To be more equitable for
individuals joining the Society from many different countries, it has
been decided that individuals and corporate academic members in
countries listed in Band A below should pay membership rates at a level
equating to that at present levied.
For those in Band B, rates will
be approximately 50% of that and for those in Band C at approximately
33%. Overseas members in localities that are not served by a local
Branch will also be eligible for a further 20% reduction (where there is
a Branch, then the full rate commensurate with the Band will be paid and
the 20% that would otherwise have been rebated will be passed to the
Branch to help finance it, there being no separate Branch Membership).
